This is the second most popular pairing in the fandom. There have been many arguments on whether Bijou should end up with Hamtaro or Boss. From the very first episode, we learn of Boss's crush on the Parisian Ham-Ham. Throughout the series, Boss does everything in his power to grab her attention, while still respecting that she loves Hamtaro. Instead of pushing him away, Bijou appreciates his kindness and has never officially learned that he loves her. This is because everytime Boss tried to confess, he freezes up and can't bring himself to utter the right words.

01 - Hamtaro
Boss whispers to his new friends about his crush. He then leads Hamtaro and Oxnard to Bijou's mansion to meet her. But when he attempts to sing her a song, he became too nervous and begged Hamtaro for help. When Bijou throws them all sunflower seeds, Boss sees this as proof that she has fallen for him. (We all know that isn't true!)
04 - Come Out, Bijou!
When the Ham-Hams arrive at the Clubhouse, they find Boss dashing from corner to corner, making a huge clean up. He explains that today, he plans for Bijou to visit and he wants his home to look its best for her. But when Bijou turns down their invitation, Boss isolates himself from everybody, contenting to sulking in his corner. So Hamtaro decides to try asking her again, and this time succeeds. When Bijou arrives at the Clubhouse, she shakes hands with Boss, who blushes crimson to his dream come true.
05 - Diamonds of Sugar
The Ham-Hams have organised a midnight picnic to try to catch diamonds of sugar in the sky. Oxnard inches slowly towards Bijou, muttering something about wanting to share seeds with her. But Boss intervenes and kicks him out of the picture. Bijou, clueless, turns around to see Boss chuckling nervously.
06 - First Time at the Beach
When a storm brews up at the beach, the Ham-Hams hide under Laura's straw hat. Boss quickly comforts a frightened Bijou, who in turn stares at him admirably. This makes him fall backwards and faint, a huge blush on his face.
