The most popular couple in the entire series, Hamtaro and Bijou have always had their share of fans from around the world. It all started in episode 4, when Bijou blushed upon Hamtaro complimenting her ribbons. Ever since, Bijou has had an obvious crush on the golden hamster, to Boss's utmost jealousy. However, Hamtaro is ever so oblivious, so he has never realised how much she loves him. Now this is where the fans start to disagree, and present all the episodes that contain proof of this "coupling".

01 - Hamtaro
Bijou's first appearance takes place in the very first episode. After Hamtaro dances for her on the branch next to her window, Bijou throws them all sunflower seeds in thanks. While the others chatter about, Hamtaro notices Bijou winking at him. He doesn't get the clue, and thinks something was wrong with her eye.

04 - Come Out, Bijou!
Bijou still has some trouble joining the other Ham-Hams. Luckily, Hamtaro is there to bring her out of her shell. When she hesitates, he jumps down to her cage and helps her out. After much convincing, Bijou finally tries to leap to a nearby branch. When she almost falls off, Hamtaro gives her a helping hand. (Or in this case, paw. :P) Once they arrive at the Clubhhouse, Bijou mentions that her ribbons are all dirty. Hamtaro then comments on how they look great anyway, making her blush.

05 - Diamonds of Sugar
When Hamtaro and Bijou talk about the candy, they friends start doubting their truthfullness. This causes them to stare at eachother awkwardly, blushing.
